Information collected when you browse

Reading public stories does not require a reader account. When a chapter is opened, the website may record aggregate chapter view counts and the date of a view. Our hosting and database providers may also process technical information such as IP addresses, browser details, request timestamps and diagnostic logs for service delivery, security and troubleshooting.

Browser storage

We may use browser session storage to reduce duplicate chapter view counts over a short period. You can clear this data using your browser controls. Blocking browser storage may affect some site features.

Messages you send

If you email us, we receive the email address, message content and any attachments you choose to send. We use that information to respond, review reports and address website issues. Do not send confidential information unless necessary.

Advertising and cookies

We may introduce advertising, including Google AdSense, after appropriate setup. If advertising is enabled, advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to deliver, measure and personalize ads where permitted by applicable law and consent choices. Reading and site analytics

Chapter views may be recorded through a database function when a published chapter is opened. The reader-facing code uses a browser session-storage timestamp for each chapter to avoid submitting another view within approximately 30 minutes from the same browser session. These counts are intended to show general reading activity and may not represent unique individual readers.

Administrator access

Website administration is separate from public reading. Authorized administrators may sign in to manage stories, chapters and publication settings. Authentication services may process login identifiers and security-related information. Public readers do not need an administrator account.

Google advertising choices

If Google AdSense is enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies to serve and measure ads, subject to applicable law and configuration. Children and sensitive information

Our site is a general-audience fiction library, not a service designed to collect personal information from children. International processing

Technical service providers may operate infrastructure in different countries. Information processed through those services may therefore be handled outside your place of residence, subject to their applicable safeguards and terms.

Advertising integrity

We may review unusual traffic patterns to protect the website and comply with advertising program requirements. We do not claim to operate a particular advertising-fraud cookie, fingerprinting system or retention period unless that mechanism is actually deployed.
