Copyright & Content Reports
Last updated: October 13, 2026
PlotNest respects authors, artists, publishers and other rights holders. We aim to use original material or content we have permission to publish. We take credible reports of possible infringement seriously.
Reporting suspected infringement
If you believe material on this website infringes your rights, email contract@plotnest.site with the following information:
- The specific URL of the story, chapter or image on PlotNest.
- A description or link identifying the original copyrighted work.
- Your name, contact information and relationship to the rights holder.
- An explanation of why you believe the use is unauthorized.
- Any additional evidence that helps us locate and assess the material.
Review process
We may ask for clarification or temporarily restrict access to reported material while reviewing the concern. When appropriate, we may correct, replace or remove the material. We do not guarantee a fixed review time or a particular outcome.
False or incomplete reports
Please provide accurate information. Reports lacking enough detail to identify the material may be difficult to investigate. This contact process does not replace any formal legal rights or procedures available under applicable law.
Corrections unrelated to copyright
For missing chapters, formatting errors, inaccurate descriptions or broken images, please see Contact.
What happens after a report
We first try to identify the exact content and assess the information supplied. Depending on the concern, we may request clarification, edit attribution, replace an image, temporarily restrict a chapter or remove material. We may also retain relevant correspondence to document how the issue was handled.
For authors and illustrators
If you wish to discuss permission, attribution or licensing for a work, contact us before assuming that a link or credit alone grants republication rights. We do not encourage unauthorized copying of stories from other sites.
Good-faith communication
Please avoid sending unnecessary personal documents. If you represent an author or publisher, explain your authority to act for them. We aim to address credible concerns fairly while preserving lawful uses and the rights of other parties.
